Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan ulasan terhadap integrasi pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis Socioscientific Issues (SSI) dalam pembelajaran IPA. Bagaimana peran model Inkuiri berbasis SSI pada pembelajaran IPA; Bagaimana subjek penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian model Inkuiri berbasis SSI di berbagai negara; dan Bagaimana topik SSI yang dapat digunakan pada pembelajaran IPA menjadi fokus pertanyaan dalam penelitian ini. Beberapa penelitian telah membahas pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis SSI dalam pembelajaran IPA, namun sedikit yang melakukan kajian literatur secara sistematis. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kajian literatur sistematis (Systematic Literature Review) dengan teknik PRISMA. Berdasarkan 950 artikel yang diperoleh, dilakukan seleksi dengan kriteria inklusi, sehingga diperoleh 10 artikel yang akan dikaji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Inkuiri berbasis SSI berperan dalam pembelajaran IPA; penelitian Inkuiri berbasis SSI dilakukan terhadap siswa SMP, SMA/SMK, dan Guru prajabatan; dan pemilihan topik SSI dipertimbangkan dari segi sains, teknologi, dan dampak sosialnya.
