Abstract

Tingginya risiko bencana banjir di Kota Samarinda menuntut penguatan literasi kebencanaan melalui pembelajaran Geografi, terutama bagi Generasi Z yang memiliki karakteristik belajar berbasis teknologi digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis literasi kebencanaan Generasi Z di SMA Kota Samarinda pasca mengikuti pembelajaran Geografi berdasarkan empat dimensi yakni, basic literacy, functional literacy, interactive literacy, dan critical literacy. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan sampel 95 responden pada kelas XI di SMAN 3, SMAN 4, dan SMAN 9 Samarinda yang dipilih melalui proportionate stratified random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes HOTS yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, serta wawancara dengan guru geografi sebagai data pendukung. Data dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif menggunakan mean dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi kebencanaan Generasi Z berada pada kategori sedang dengan rerata 54,67. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Geografi memiliki peran dalam membentuk literasi kebencanaan, namun perkembangan literasi kebencanaan Generasi Z tidak berlangsung secara linear, di mana kesadaran kritis terhadap isu kebencanaan berkembang lebih baik dibandingkan penguasaan pengetahuan dasar dan keterampilan praktis. Oleh karena itu, penguatan pembelajaran Geografi perlu diarahkan pada pengembangan pengetahuan dasar, pengalaman belajar yang kontekstual, kolaboratif, dan berbasis praktik agar seluruh dimensi literasi kebencanaan berkembang secara seimbang.
