Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submitted file is in .docx and .doc format.
  • The submitted article follows the Jurnal Pendidikan MIPA template.
  • Writing quotations/citations and reference lists/bibliography already uses the Mendeley Program.

Author Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Pendidikan MIPA are manuscripts based on high-quality empirical research results related to Quantitative, Qualitative, and Mixed-method research related to learning innovations in Mathematics, Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Science, and Technology. The subjects involved can come from early childhood education levels to tertiary education, both formal, informal, and non-formal education paths.

The contents of the manuscript are written in Indonesian or English. Language and writing are among the assessments of accepted manuscripts. Authors are advised to check carefully and, if necessary, use the services of a proofreader. Authors must avoid plagiarizing other people's work (plagiarism) except in permitted ways, for example, by citing the references. The editor of Jurnal Pendidikan MIPA checks each manuscript's similarity level using Turnitin software and only tolerates no more than 20%.

Overall, the body of the article is between 5,000–8,000 words, including the title, abstract, and bibliography. Article typing using Microsoft Word software with Goundy Old Style Font according to the template provided, in one column to facilitate the review process, and in .doc or .docx format (not in pdf format). Page numbers do not need to be written. The body of the article consists of four main parts: introduction, methods, results and discussion, and conclusions. The weighting of the length of each part is shown in the Figure below.
